Park house

The client’s brief was clear: to create a modern home tailored to city living, centered on a generous living area that could seamlessly extend onto a 20 sqm terrace. This indoor–outdoor continuity supports both relaxation and social gatherings, while reinforcing the sense of openness throughout the apartment.

A highly functional kitchen equipped with top-of-the-line appliances anchors the living space, reflecting the owners’ passion for quality and efficiency. Equally important was the inclusion of a dedicated home office designed to accommodate the professional activities of both residents, ensuring flexibility and comfort without compromising spatial coherence.

The design language is intentionally minimal and modern, yet warm, inviting, and deeply functional. Every element was selected to support daily life while preserving an elegant, timeless character. Material choices celebrate authenticity and tactility, combining natural oak boiserie, brushed stainless steel, natural stone and rattan to create a nuanced palette that feels both contemporary and grounded.

Technology plays a central role in the project. The apartment is fully equipped with an advanced domotic system and state-of-the-art services, ensuring comfort, energy efficiency, and intuitive control. These integrated solutions have contributed to achieving an A3+ energy rating, reinforcing the project’s commitment to sustainable, future-oriented urban living for modern residents, while demonstrating how thoughtful design can elevate everyday experiences in a contemporary metropolitan context today.

Description

Located within the Park Residence, a new residential development in Milan, this 130 sqm two-bedroom apartment is conceived as a refined urban retreat that balances contemporary aesthetics with everyday practicality. The design process began by embracing the apartment’s privileged east–west orientation and its open views toward the surrounding urban park, allowing natural light and landscape to become key drivers of the interior composition.
