Micro Macro
Our client's wish list was ambitious, to say the least. In this very small apartment, they yearned for a walk-in wardrobe, a complete kitchen with integrated appliances, a dining area accommodating 4 to 6 guests, a comfortable living room with space for a couch, a dedicated work-from-home desk, and a king-size bed.
But that's not all. Our design had to ensure privacy for the bedroom while making the most of the apartment's vertical space.
We leveraged the apartment's 3.3 meter floor-to-ceiling height to incorporate a mezzanine, which would serve as the bedroom retreat.
Cleverly concealed by movable panels, this design element added a layer of privacy without compromising on the apartment's openness.
To stay true to Milan's identity, we chose natural materials that exude timeless elegance.
Birch plywood and oak were carefully crafted into bespoke joinery, marble graced the countertops, and polished concrete formed the flooring.
These materials, combined with a minimal, contemporary aesthetic, perfectly reflect Milan's soul and style.
In the heart of Milan's bustling city center, this apartment will stands as a testament to the magic that can be conjured within even the most compact spaces.
It embodies the fusion of practicality and sophistication, showcasing how thoughtful design can transform limitations into opportunities.
Milan, with its rich cultural heritage, deserves nothing less than design excellence, and that's precisely what we deliver.
Welcome home to the future of urban living.
