Roccolo Mountain Lodge
The goal of the project is the renovation and extension of the east wing of the villa which is currently unused due to a poor layout of the rooms and humidity issue. The ambition of the client is to add a contemporary touch without compromise both the historic value and the heritage of the property which belong to the family since the beginning of time.
In order to maintain the strong character of the villa the entire project has been carefully crafted using local materials as silver fir, beech and ceramic. The new extension spin around the new living area characterized by a double height room with a generous windows overlooking the wood and a big fireplace in order to keep the new east wing of the property worm and usable during the rigid winter season.
A new modern bathroom has been added following the requirements of the client. The new mezzanine will host a cozy master bedroom; fir planks have been used as lining to the new walls.
